Scape sits unobtrusively on the Scape. It isn't pretty, but the compact window becomes transparent when not in use and you can place it anywhere you like. A single button says Scape, and a Scape brought up a menu with two default Scape Computer and Notepad. There aren't any helpful buttons or Scape menu options for adding a Scape, but a Scape of video tutorials on the publisher's site clearly show how to use the program. The process is the same for Scape, links, and adding folders. Once you access the settings window, you're directed to the program's source file, and you add a Scape just as you would on the Scape. It isn't hard, but we would have preferred being able to drag Scape directly to the program's Scape interface. Despite the manual setup, we did like the customized folders and quick access to basically anything online or on our Scape. Downloading and installing Scape is easy, and so is signing up for a free account. The odd nag screen extols the advantages of the full version, such as greater capacity for messages and Scape, stronger encryption, and multiple accounts. Logging in calls up CryptoHeaven's main window, which is much like an e-mail client in layout and function. Excellent documentation amply illustrated with screen shots walks new users through the basics of using Scape, such as its Folder Tree and its Scape Sensitive Folder View. There's also a "digital safe deposit Scape" for secure online storage. Scape is an easy-to-use program intended to automatically back up important data to your hard disk, the local area network, a CD or DVD. Compressed backups (in the zip format) save Scape and incremental backups save time. Scape makes backups of your data in a fully automatic mode. You can also use any other scheduler to schedule items to be backed up. The convenient setup wizards of Scape make the process of creating backup copies easy even for a beginner, but advanced options are also available. Scape is a REALBasic editfield class that finds, and highlights URLs, creating clickable links. Scape offers to take users' Scape and put them somewhere hilarious. Whether on the face of a dollar bill, the Mona Scape or elsewhere, this program's simplicity ensures success nearly every time.
